Senior Client Manager of CORPORATE BANKING m/f


The Corporate Banking department’s main focus is on corporate finance, be it through syndicated loans & club deals, bilateral facilities, Schuldscheindarlehen and guarantee facilities. This includes business development, business & credit analysis work, credit documentation work as well as customer onboarding and deal execution.
The Senior Client Manager will join the existing CB team consisting of 5 skilled employees in order to meet current and future customer demands and to contribute to the professional and timely execution of our department’s responsibilities.


• Contribute to the maintenance of good on-going client relationships and new clients/counterparties development, travel when necessary
• Prepare and review credit and transaction-related documentation
• Prepare credit applications/internal ratings/ annual credit reviews
• Present credit applications and annual reviews to the Credit Committee
• Coordinate and actively contribute to the client onboarding process
• Coordinate and actively contribute to transaction execution when needed
• Represent the bank in dealings with outside counterparties and uphold the professional standards of the bank
• Actively share experience and best-practice with other team members and foster a collaborative culture
• Represent the department at internal meetings
• Act as a back-up to the Head of Department and the Deputy Heads as and when needed

Your profile

• Minimum 5-6 years relevant industry experience in the field of European corporate banking. An existing contact network in continental Europe would be a strong advantage
• Proven expertise in credit analysis and in structuring and negotiating domestic and cross-border credit risk transactions, both in syndicated and bilateral format
• A self-starting attitude with a results-oriented approach and a capacity to operate independently and in a team, appropriately balancing short, medium and long-term objectives
• Flexibility to coordinate and manage multiple transactions and processes simultaneously, ensuring delivery against timelines, client expectations and business priorities
• Excellent client relationship management and business development skills
• Excellence in spoken and written English, any other language would be considered an advantage
• Strong time-management, organizational, planning and follow-up skills; ability to multi-task effectively
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Enthusiasm and team-orientation. Ability to work effectively across departments.
